Today in class, we talked about a shooting in Minnesota. We mainly had discussions during class about guns. We also discussed how people see color compared to others. We watched some of the Crash Course video as well.
  • Logic is the philosopher's toolbox.
  • Logic is about reasoning and giving fallacy.
  • Fallacy- a failure in reasons or flawed reasoning that leads to a invalid or unsolved reasoning.
  • Step 1: Try to understand.
  • Step 2: Critic evaluation.

Jillian Kurzmann 5/17/18 Honors Western Civilization Today in class, we took notes on a powerpoint. Charlemagne Unites Germanic Kingdoms Main Idea: Many Germanic Kingdoms that succeeded the Roman Empire were reunited under Charlemagne's empire. Why it matters now: Charlemagne spread Christian civilization throughout Northern Europe, which is where some (not all of) us came from. Setting the Stage Middle Ages=Medieval period.
